Meet Elibes Linos
Pupil Service & Attendance Counselor, LAUSD
Ms. Linos was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, and still resides there. She is a Latina first-generation college student. Elibes Linos is a (PSA) Pupil Services and Attendance Counselor with LAUSD. In this role, she provides comprehensive child welfare and attendance support, including tiered absence prevention and intervention, dropout prevention, and recovery services. Before becoming a PSA counselor, she worked as an academic counselor with high school and middle school students for two years. Educational Background: Ms. Linos received her bachelor's in Liberal Studies from California State University, Los Angeles, in 2020. She completed her Master's in school counseling with PPS credentials from the University of La Verne and her CWA (Child Welfare and Attendance) credential program from Loyola Marymount University. Ms. Linos is pursuing her Doctorate in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Special Education (Qualitative Research) at Grand Canyon University. Her professional aspirations and goals include obtaining a Leadership role with LAUSD and eventually becoming an Administrator or College Professor.
