Workshop Themes

Culture and Expectations

  • How has your culture and the expectations that society has for you shaped you into who you are today?

Challenges and Choices

  • Share about a challenge you have faced. How did you overcome it? What choices did you make to shape your future?

Turning Points and Pathways

  • Describe the path that you took to your current position in life. What is straight or did you have lots of turns along the way? What did you learn about yourself through the process?

Skills, Skills, Skills!

  • What skills are important for success? What do students need to do now to prepare for their futures?

  • 8:30AM: Arrival, light refreshments, networking

  • 9:20-10:20: Session 1 present your content to approximately 25 high school students

  • Break

  • 10:40-11:40: Session 2 present your same content to a second group of approximately 25 high school students

  • 11:45 Networking Lunch
