Workshop details:
There are eight core skills the FBI teaches it employees on how to be adaptive and develop positive behaviors that enable people to deal effectively with demands and challenges for everyday life. Once you identify how you assess your own skills you will be able to use these skills for the rest of your life no matter what career or path you choose. Although these skills can vary according to a person's age, career, community and culture, there are several that may benefit you in a wide variety of career paths and personal relationships.
Meet Brett Kalina
Supervisory Special Agent, Federal Bureau of Investigation
I have been a special agent for 20 years specializing in transnational organized crime, including one of the largest world-wide takedowns in history called Operation Trojan Shield. I went to school and grew up in North Dakota, but my career has allowed me to travel around the world. I appreciate the personal and cultural diversity found in San Diego which prepares people for challenges after high school.
