Are you thinking about applying to college as a STEM major? Is your goal to have a career in STEM after college? Then this is the workshop for you! Maria will go over skills that you should be developing to achieve your goals in STEM based on her personal experience.
Meet Maria Andrade
Transmission Line Engineer, POWER Engineers, Inc.
Maria attended UC San Diego right after high school and graduated with a degree in Structural Engineering in 2021. Maria completed two structural engineering internships in college, one of those being with POWER Engineers, Inc. She is now working as a transmission line engineer with POWER where she practices civil and structural engineering design. In her free time she likes to go to coffee shops, attend dance classes, and explore different restaurants.
