Meet Briana Tellez

Marketing and Communications Specialist, Forever Balboa Park

Briana Tellez is a passionate advocate for environmental stewardship, community engagement, and historic preservation. As the Marketing and Communications Specialist for Forever Balboa Park, she leads the marketing efforts for one of San Diego’s most iconic landmarks—the historic Botanical Building. She oversees media campaigns and crafts narratives that celebrate its restoration. As the sole marketing lead on this initiative, she is shaping how this landmark’s reopening is experienced, understood, and celebrated.

Before joining Forever Balboa Park, Briana built a strong foundation in environmental storytelling and public outreach through roles at Dudek and SANDAG. These experiences have given her a unique perspective on how thoughtful planning and investment can shape sustainable, connected communities.

Briana’s work is driven by a deep belief in the power of storytelling to inspire action. Whether advocating for historic preservation or fostering community engagement, she is committed to ensuring that places like Balboa Park continue to thrive for generations to come.
